Summary
Fourvision Broadcaster ("we", "the Service") is a technology provider (Tech Provider) that helps businesses send official WhatsApp messages through Meta's WhatsApp Business Platform. This policy explains what data we collect when you ("the Client") or the Client's own customers use the Service, how that data is used, and your rights over it.
Data We Collect
We collect data in three categories:
1. Client Account Data
- The Client account's name, email, and login credentials.
- WhatsApp Business Account (WABA) and connected phone number information — including the WABA ID, phone number ID, and the Meta access token the Client connects via Embedded Signup.
2. Client Contact & Customer Data
- Names, phone numbers, and custom attributes the Client uploads or enters into contact groups.
- Broadcast send history: which template was sent, the variable values filled in, and the delivered/failed status per recipient.
3. Technical Data
- System activity logs (login times, broadcast send actions, template changes).
- IP address and device information for security purposes.
How Data Is Used
- Sending WhatsApp messages on the Client's instructions using Meta-approved templates.
- Managing the account & WABA connections so the Client can broadcast from their own WhatsApp Business number.
- Tracking send history so the Client can audit who sent what, when, and to how many numbers.
- Keeping the platform secure, detecting misuse, and preventing spam.
- Contacting the Client about account status, billing, or policy changes.
Sharing Data with Third Parties
We do not sell your data. Data is only shared with:
- Meta Platforms, Inc. — as the provider of the WhatsApp Business Platform, destination numbers and broadcast message content are forwarded to Meta so the message can actually be delivered over WhatsApp.
- Infrastructure providers (hosting, database, message queues) that process data solely to run the Service on our behalf.
- Legal authorities, if required by applicable law.
Data Security & Storage
- Meta access tokens are stored encrypted in the database and are never displayed back in the interface once saved.
- Access to other Clients' data is restricted through per-client (multi-tenant) data separation — one Client cannot see another Client's data.
- Connections to the Service use HTTPS/TLS.
Data Retention
Account data and broadcast history are kept for as long as the Client's account is active, for audit and compliance purposes. Templates that fail to submit to Meta are never stored at all. Once an account is closed or a deletion request is approved, data is removed within the timeframe described on the Data Deletion Instructions page.
Your Rights Over Your Data
- Access — request a copy of the data we hold about you.
- Correction — update inaccurate contact/account data.
- Deletion — request data deletion per the Data Deletion Instructions.
- Revoke access — disconnect a WABA at any time from the settings page.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or an in-app notification before they take effect.
